*There are several ways to number The Ten
Commandments.
Some will call this The Second Commandment.
ANNOUNCER: The fifth book of Moses called Deuteronomy.
Chapter 28 (1) And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the
voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments ..., that
the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
(2) And all these blessings shall come on thee, and
overtake thee,...
(3) Blessed shalt
thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
(4) Blessed
shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground,...
(5) Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
(6) Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and
blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
(9) The Lord shall
establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
MUSIC: Majesty.
ANNOUNCER: Welcome to the Bible Law Course Program. This is a series of broadcasts about
The Ten Commandants, not as a means to salvation, but as a code of conduct for
Christians. In these programs we will show that all our nations problems can be
solved with the application of God given law.
SPEAKER: Hello. Now listen carefully, you are going to hear words that may not legally
be posted or studied in many public schools. Here they are, The Ten Commandments:
ANNOUNCER: (6) I am the Lord thy God which brought
thee out of the land Egypt, the house of bondage. . . (7) Thou shalt have none other gods before
me.
(8) Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any
thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
(9) Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto
them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the
iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation
of them that hate me,
(10) And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me
and keep my commandments.
(11) Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God
in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in
vain.
(12) Keep the Sabbath day to sanctify it, as the
Lord thy God hath commanded thee.
(16) Honor thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy
God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well
with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. (
(17) Thou shalt not
kill. (18) Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
(19) Neither shalt thou steal.
(20) Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbor.
(21) Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbor's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy
neighbor's
house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or
any thing that is thy neighbor's.
SPEAKER: Now consider this, (1) given the natural
state of man, (2) what we know about the carnal mind and (3) man's tendency to
wickedness, do you think that these few verses in Deuteronomy 5 are, or should
be, all of God's law?
The average Bible is about 700 pages. The "Law" in Exodus 20 and
repeated in Deuteronomy 5 is about one half of one page. That is 1/10 of 1% of
your Bible. Ten Commandments alone do not list punishments. They do not list any
penalties for disobedience. Do you think there should be any additional
instruction or explanation? Do you think that the remaining 99.9% of the Bible
might contain an explanation of the basic Ten Commandments?
Have you ever heard any explanation from any school or church pulpit? Do you
think it would make good sense for a father to command a son, saying, "you
are not to steal any toys from your brother or from the neighbor's
children," and then not enforce any punishment upon the child if he did
steal some toys?
How about a city passing an ordinance which reads, "Thou shalt not speed on city streets." Do they post the law around a few places,
and now, having given the law, retire all the traffic officers, and provide no
form of punishment for those who do violate the law? "Thou shalt not speed
on city streets." If the city were to do that, give the law, then provide
no enforcement, no punishment for violation of the law, you would probably say
they were rather stupid.
Well, what opinion do you have of God, if that is what you think God did,
that is, wrote laws but made no provision for their enforcement and no provision
for penalties when violated? Well, many Christians answer, "God is
love." He is not a vengeful God. He has given us these commandments as
guidelines. If we love Him we will obey them, however, we have no authority to
judge any who might break his laws. Some would go so far as to insist that all
we can do about those who violate God's laws is to warn them of hell and let it
go at that. Well, let's look into this; I'll be back after this message.
MUSIC: My Country Tis of Thee.
ANNOUNCER: Your Bible says, "God is the healer of all our diseases." Millions of us are
Christians. Yet almost everyone has health problems. And now AIDS threatens to
become a Middle Ages type plague. We're spending over eight hundred billion
dollars a year on health care. Enough money to buy 26 million luxury
automobiles.
What's wrong? What's the answer? While man's complicated solutions
have only made the situation worse. Call now, toll

SPEAKER: Let's look at some of the commandments; Then look at other verses related to
these commandments. Both the commandments and their explanation were given to
the same people, at the same time. You see, God is as wise as city councilmen
who pass laws against speeding, writes statutes to define speeding, and then
provide for fines or other punishment for violation.
Both man's law and God's law consists of these same three parts. The three
parts are necessary, otherwise you end up with an incomplete law. To be a
complete law a law must have three parts. The three parts are, as listed in the
Bible many times, (1) the laws, (2) the statutes, and (3) the judgments.
The law is the command. The simple statement, "Thou shalt do such and
so" or "Thou shalt not do such and so. "The statute defines a
violation of the commandment. And the judgment is the punishment, or penalty to
be enforced upon the law breaker.
The law might be. "Thou shalt not speed on city streets." But, what
exactly is speeding? The statute answers that question. One statute describing a
violation of that law might be, Thou shalt not exceed twenty miles per hour in a
school zone. Another statute, Thou shalt not go over 25 miles per hour in a
business district. Those statutes would define speeding.
Now, the Judgment, the
punishment to be enforced is, "violators of the speeding law shall be fined
$5.00 for each mile over the limit." The legislature knows that the law is more
than just, "Thou shalt not speed." The law is not complete without
statutes and judgments. God's law is not just "The Ten Commandments."
It includes pages and pages of statutes and judgments.
The Ten Commandments, standing alone, with no statutes and judgments. They
are not enough for man. God knew that when He gave them. That is why he also
gave pages and pages of explanation in the form of statutes and judgments. Most
are totally unknown and unstudied in the modern church.
When we speak of the
whole law of God, we must of necessity understand the laws, the statutes, and the
judgments which constitute the whole of the law of God. Like the city council
law, "thou shalt not speed on city streets." Alone that law is
useless. The speeding law will bring order to city streets, only if the law is
made whole by including a statute to define speeding and a judgment to establish
the punishment for violation. After this message I will talk about one of the
commandments and a few of its statutes.
ANNOUNCER: Shrinking pay checks, loss of health insurance, high taxes, more taxes,
disappearing pensions; why does the most productive, most advanced nation that
ever existed find itself with a national debt that seems unpayable? The people
in Nehemiah five of your Bible had similar problems. The solutions that worked
then will work now. Call now, toll free- 1 800 (deleted). And we will send

SPEAKER: Here is the third commandment.
ANNOUNCER: (11) Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for
the Lord will not hold him guiltless who taketh His name in vain.
SPEAKER: That is the law. And here is a statute from Deuteronomy 12:1-4
ANNOUNCER: (1) These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in
the land, which the Lord God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the
days that ye live upon the earth.
(2) Ye shall utterly destroy all the places,
wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high
mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
(3) And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break
their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven
images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
(4) Ye
shall not do so unto the Lord your God.
SPEAKER: The two basic points: First: ye shall hew down the graven
images of their gods, and destroy the names of other gods out of that place. And
second (4) Ye shall not do so unto the Lord your God. What is happening here in
America? Christmas is often spelled Xmas. X M A S. We are not
to remove the name of our God yet we have.
Then what do we do? Do you remember the names of the
intercontinental ballistic missiles? The weapons of war that we relied upon for
protection during the cold war. Thor and Atlas. Our mission to the moon was
named after Apollo. Who are Thor, Atlas and Apollo? They are pagan gods. Your
Bible commands that we remove the names of false gods, not honor them by naming
things after them. I'll be right back after this message.
MUSIC: My Country Tis Of Thee.
ANNOUNCER: When you add up the total debt of the American people, federal, state, local,
business and personal, our people owe more than the value of the whole North
American Continent. How has this situation come upon us? Is there a way out of
this mess?
Well, the answer is Yes, and it's in the Bible. But your Bible is
forbidden in the public schools and it has been chased out of government. Call now, toll free at 1 800

And we'll send free sample Bible Law Course lessons, No obligation.
SPEAKER: I have before me several news articles. This one has a headline reading,
American Atheists sue over city seals bearing religious symbols. What do these
atheists want? Do they want the names of the gods Thor, Atlas, and Apollo
removed from government property?
No, they want the Christian cross removed from the city seal of
Rolling Meadows, Chicago. They also want the motto "God reigns" removed from the
city seal. Here is another article. Another headline. Suit seeks removal of
Marine Cross. Here are the opening words of the article, "Honolulu, The ACLU and
fifteen people of various faiths have sued in US District Court seeking to force the
Marines Corps to remove a huge cross from its base here."
Here is another short article, The headline: City to sell crosses to avoid
litigation. The article reads; Corpus Christi, Texas: The city is selling 6-foot
crosses traditionally erected in a public park on Easter to avoid a legal battle
over whether they violate the separation of church and state. The three white
crosses have been erected for the past 40 years in Corpus Christi, whose name is
Latin for, "The Body of Christ." The City Attorney said the display
probably would have been ruled unconstitutional in court.
How about that? The city named after Jesus Christ gives up without a fight.
One thing for sure. Forty years ago. Those crosses would not have been ruled
unconstitutional. And in addition to that. The so called 'separation of church
and state', well that is one of the biggest, most Satanic frauds ever to be
pulled over the eyes of the American people.
And in a future program I will expose the fraud of the so called
Constitutional, Separation of Church and State. In the mean time, you read your
State and National Constitutions. You will not find 'Separation of Church' and
state there at all. And you might be very surprised at what you do find. Very
few Christians know that several State Constitutions specifically mention
religion, Christianity, and the Bible. For example;
Here is what you will find if you live in Ohio. Listen to these
words from section seven of the Ohio Constitution's - Bill of Rights: "Religion,
morality, and knowledge, however, being essential to good government, it shall
be the duty of the general assembly to pass suitable laws to protect every
religious denomination the peaceful enjoyment of its own mode of public worship,
and to encourage schools and the means of instruction."
The Ohio Constitution was adopted in 1802. Twenty-three years
later, in 1825, a tax levy was passed to support and set up a public school
system. Therefore, the schools mentioned when the Ohio constitution was written
are private and church schools. Here in America Christian Churches founded 106
of the first 108 schools. As written, the Ohio Constitution required the State
to protect and encourage private church schools.
And you people in Massachusetts, here from your state constitution's
Declaration of Rights, Article 2: "And every denomination of Christians . . .
shall be equally under the protection of the law."
How about that? Does that
sound like separation of church and state? baloney! The Massachusetts
Constitution was written to protect Christians!
Here is Article Three from the Vermont Constitution's - Declaration of
Rights, Article 3: "(our) opinion shall be regulated by the word of God. . . .
Nevertheless, every sect or denomination of Christians ought to observe the
Sabbath or Lord's day, and keep up some sort of religious worship, which to them
shall seem most agreeable to the revealed word of God."
The Virginia state constitution - Article 1, Section 16: here's what it says;
"..and it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love and
charity towards each other."
Here is Mississippi's Constitution- Section 18: it says, "the
rights hereby secured shall not be construed to . . . exclude or remove the Holy
Bible from use in any public school of this state." How about that! The state constitution of Mississippi says, the Holy Bible is
not to be removed from use in any public school of this state.
We Christians
need to read our state and national constitutions and other historical
documents. Now, I may have strayed somewhat from the subject of the third
commandment, Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: and the
statutes that define it. One statute required the removal of names and symbols
of other gods, and the second statute, forbidding the removal of the name and
symbols of Jesus Christ. In these newspaper articles what do we see?
We see the removal of Christian
symbols and Christian names. After the Christian Crosses are removed from Corpus
Christi Texas, will they want to change the name of the city? Corpus Christi
does mean, The Body of Christ.
When the Communists took over in Russia they
changed St. Petersburg to Stalingrad. Here is Ohio, the SOHIO Gas stations were
purchased by British Petroleum. All the old names and all the old symbols came
down and new names and new symbols went up. In a manner of speaking, you might
say, the old business had a new god and the new god removed the name and symbols
of the old god.
When a nation changes its god, it also changes names and symbols. Just as the
Communists changed St. Petersburg to Stalingrad. From time to time you will see
more news articles about the removal of Christian names and Christian symbols.
This is simply a gradual change from Jesus Christ to the false god that the
Bible calls, Baal.
In fact, removing Christ and Christianity from America is a
form of Baal-worship. Whenever you see another of these newspaper articles you
are seeing the breaking of God's third commandment and likewise, the enforcement
of Baal's third commandment. The battle rages here in America. Who will win,
Jesus or Baal? My Christian friends, this is the third commandment,
ANNOUNCER: (11) Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain:
And here are
two of its statutes. "You shall remove the names and symbols of other Gods." And second,
"You shall
not do so to the Lord your God." Now what is the judgment: From Deuteronomy 5,
Here it is,
ANNOUNCER: "for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his
name in vain."
SPEAKER: In Deuteronomy 5 and verse 27-33, After giving the 10
Commandments God spoke to Moses saying;
ANNOUNCER: (29) O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and
keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their
children for ever!
SPEAKER: What does that remind you of? Well, it makes me think about
the New Covenant. About a time when God's people would have a new heart in them,
a heart that would lead us to fear God and keep his commandments. Here is what
the prophet Jeremiah prophesied. It's in Jeremiah 31:31-34.
ANNOUNCER: (31) Behold, the days
come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant . . . : (32) Not according
to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by
the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake,
although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
(33) But this shall be
the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith
the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(34) And they shall teach no
more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord:
for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,
saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin
no more.
SPEAKER: That is the Old Testament promise of a New Covenant. What exactly was The Old
Covenant? Was it a promise of salvation for law keeping as many teach? "No," a
thousand times "No." Let's look into the Bible and see for ourselves just exactly what was
involved. The Old covenant is found in Exodus 19:3-8 and also in chapter 24 and
verse 3, listen to this;
ANNOUNCER: (3) And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the
mountain, saying, . . . ; (4) Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and
how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
(5) Now
therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall
be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
(6) And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These
are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
(7) And Moses came and called for the elders of the
people, and laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded
him.
(8) And all the people answered together, and said,
All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the
people unto the Lord.
SPEAKER: That my friends is the old Covenant in a nut shell, God said
ANNOUNCER: "if ye will obey
my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto
me above all people: for all the earth is mine: (6) And ye shall be unto me a
kingdom of priests, and an holy nation." The
people said, "All that the Lord hath spoken we will
do."
Nothing about salvation. Rather, the promise that
God's people would be God's peculiar treasure, and a nation of kings and
priests. Now, if we go to the New Testament, after Christ's sacrifice on the
cross, we find this in Hebrews 10:15-17 (15).
ANNOUNCER: Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said
before, I am interrupting to point out these words are about what was said
before. And that, before, was in Jeremiah, the promise of a New Covenant, which
we just heard, so let's begin again; (15) Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a
witness to us: for after that he had said before, (16) This is the covenant
that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws
into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (17) And their sins and
iniquities will I remember no more.
SPEAKER: Hebrews 10 is a quote of Jeremiah 31. So, if you are a New Testament
Christian, you should be already be saved, and you should also have God's Law in
your heart.
Now think about this, as you look at what is happening here in America, don't
you say to yourself, "that's just not right." The television talk shows say
it's right. The newspapers say it's right, everyone says it's right, but you
know in your heart that something is not right. That is God's law working in
your heart. Just as the wicked work to remove from public life all things having
to do with Christ and Christianity, they also want to remove as much as
possible from your heart, they want to remove God's law from your heart.
They
plaster it over with the new morality, pornography, drugs, TV talk shows that
present every perversion as acceptable, while ridiculing traditional Christian
morality. They forbid Bible study in schools, they forbid the posting of
The Ten
Commandments. They even have many pastors believing, 'the law is done away in
Jesus'. They work day and night to give you a spiritual heart transplant. Well,
the law is there in your heart and mind. You just have to refresh your memory.
